Review of Porto Rio Hotel in Patras
I had a very pleasant stay, as always. the property is wonderful, featuring very friendly staff who make you feel welcome. the restaurant serves outstanding and excellent food. I found the double room to be exceptionally comfortable, complete with an iron, an electronic key card, and a multi-channel tv. the location is really close to the beautiful Rio-Antirio Bridge, which is a nice bonus.

Everything was perfect, magnificent location short walk to the common areas, the casino and an archaeological museum, extremely helpful staff. The double room we stayed in was beautifully maintained in medium condition. The hotel provided us with an iron, an electronic key card, and a multi-channel TV: D

Very good service all round, helpful staff. Easy location to Patra, ferries etc. Excellent meal in the restaurant and snack in the bar. Also smoker friendly with a distinct smoking area for the bar.
Exterior of hotel needs tidying up, and rooms are a little out dated.

The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast and lounge rooms were very modern and welcoming
I could not believe that the rooms above the 1st floor/ reception were of so poor quality. (e.g. room 145) . The toilet was making an awful noise, the airconditioning was noisy, the blanket had a burn-hole and the balcony was totally rotten... Avoid rooms above the reception. Unacceptable for 4 stars hotels.

Enjoyed the breathtaking view of the bridge and the blue waters, while lounging on the free sunbeds at the pool. Plus, I got to indulge in the exclusive spa!
Who needs bottled water in the room? Just go to the crystal-clear beach and drink up! Hilarious!

the friendliness of the staff - even at very late night hours.
- the rooms could have been slightly cleaner. moreover, the rooms (at least the two I saw...) were in need of renovation. but, still, it is a luxury hotel, no doubt about it.

Nothing. Staff was rude, hotel is old, all is Brocken, we will never return there nor advise It for our friends. They did nt change our mini Bar during whole our stay 5 days. Awfully High prices for food, food is uneatable.
Nothing wad good about the hotel. Staff was rude, hotel is old, all is Brocken, we will never return there nor advise It for our friends. They did nt change our mini Bar during whole our stay for 5 days. Awfully High prices for food, food is uneatable. there was a smell of gasoline From our balcony. 2 weddings took place in the Hotel. It was impossible to sleep there. Loud Music - staff did not even appologize for that. And so on. We are very experienced travellers. This is a non sense Hotel!!!

The location of the hotel is nice, by the sea and with nice view of the bridge. The lobby areas are renovated and the breakfast was more than satisfactory.
The rest of the hotel (apart from the lobby) has been left back in the 70s. The rooms need renovation. Small crt tv, smelling carpet on the floor. Totally unacceptable the rust at the room's balcony. Definitely not a 4 star hotel and clearly over-priced.

The breakfast and the service at breakfast were super
no coffee making facilities in room, rooms need upgrading as everything looked old fashioned
